This is a new set of fundamentals of consent and boundaries, including the Consent Iceberg, the Yes to No Spectrum, Nonverbals, patterns in early consent learning, power dynamics, how to be easier to say no to, confidence, and lots of practice.
I cover basic terminology, The Consent Iceberg, FRIES from Planned Parenthood, and consent beyond permission.
If you’ve felt limited by the ‘no means no’ and ‘anything other than an enthusiastic yes is a no’ rhetoric of consent, this class will give you a much deeper and more nuanced way to talk about consent and boundaries. 50 mins plus practice exercises.
We'll go over seven different indicators of our own emotional state and someone else's that we can look for when gauging consent on an ongoing basis. We'll use media examples to practice. 49 mins + practice exercises to do on your own.
